Alex is thrilled to be teaching again. She recently made her directorial debut with Maplewood Playhouse with The Glass Menagerie. She also directed a staged reading of Proof with Bob Carter’s Actor’s Repertory Theater. Alex’s recent credits include: Dr. Livingstone, Agnes of God (Maplewood Playhouse); Olive Ovstrovsky, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Maplewood Playhouse); Reptile Woman, The Sugar Bean Sisters (Lake Worth Playhouse); and Rachel Brown, Inherit the Wind (Lake Worth Playhouse). When not performing, Alex is a Public Defender with the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit and is passionate about working with kids in our community.

VIRTUAL RATE: $140 (+ $2.00 service charge)

Study the fundamentals of improvisation through exercises that help to develop 

strong ensemble and character work. Develop stage presence patience, self confidence, good communication skills, and a respect for other performers and their 
creativity We’ll learn about timing, story structure, building character, and more 
improv games than you can shake a stick at. We’ll work on the rules and strategies for 
making the games as fun as possible both for the improvisor and the audience. This class

will be a fun and supportive environment for kids to start focusing on what makes improv work.


*Must Reach a Minimum of 4 KIDS for the class to go*
