Two widows find that the “golden years” can often carry times of loneliness and frustration. Sadie Goldberg lives with her daughter and son-in-law, whose bickering family have become dependent on her Social Security checks. Mary O’Shea lives in the deafening silence of her lonely apartment. Sadie and Mary meet at La Guardia Airport, where each escapes to the outside world to “people watch” and have a public address system tell them stories about passengers and places. As a bonding between the two women develops, pasts and emotions are shared. Bittersweet memories are brough to the surface, and their friendship is strengthened each time a plane leaves for its next destination. The two women begin to discuss living with one another when Sadie’s desperate daughter and son-in-law finally find her. They want Sadie to come home immediately. And she will… to discuss moving in… and make plans to take a plane… to somewhere.

Forever Plaid (RESCHEDULED DUE TO COVID-19)–
April 16th, 17th,18th NEW DATES ANNOUNCED SOON
Once upon a time, there were four guys (Sparky, Smudge, Jinx and Frankie) who discovered that they shared a love for music and then got together to become their idols – The Four Freshman, The Hi-Lo’s and The Crew Cuts. Rehearsing in the basement of Smudge’s family’s plumbing supply company, they became “Forever Plaid”. On the way to their first big gig, the “Plaids” are broadsided by a school bus and killed instantly. It is at the moment when their careers and lives end that the story of Forever Plaid begins….
Singing in close harmony, squabbling boyishly over the smallest intonations and executing their charmingly outlandish choreography with overzealous precision, the “Plaids” are a guaranteed smash, with a program of beloved songs and delightful patter that keeps audiences rolling in the aisles when they’re not humming along to some of the great nostalgic pop hits of the 1950s.
Tickets: $30.00 + $2.00 Service Fee
All Performances Will Take Place At The Stage West Theater At: 4200 Congress Ave. Lake Worth, FL 33461
